Ms. Byus has many favorite things but the most important are books, travel, pirates, and coffee. She earned a BA in music from the University of Redlands and her MA in teaching from Seattle Pacific University. One day she hopes to write lots of books that people will think are much more significant than they actually are. She also has three cats who routinely eat/drool on/roll over any paperwork she brings home, thus she only grades at school. She sings in a choir.
